Support Groups

Living with chronic pain can be severely isolating, contributing to anxiety, depression, feelings of overwhelm and hopelessness. Connecting with others who understand and accept the complex ways that chronic pain impacts everything in life is an important part of beginning the healing journey. This ongoing group is free to anyone living with chronic pain and their family members - because pain affects the family too.

We would love to have you join us at our next meeting. The flyer below includes dates, times and location. Visiting a support group can be intimidating. Group members would like you to know that this is an accepting space, where your needs and pain are respected. You are welcome to share at any level you feel comfortable. We like to say the ugliest diseases can form the most beautiful friendships because the bond of talking to others that understand what you’re going through first hand can form unique connections and genuine validation/understanding.

As the facilitator of this group, I would like you to know I am honored to be a part of such an amazing group who consistently come together to support each other. We share laughter as well as the tough stuff. Please let me know if you have any questions. You are invited to share the flyer with anyone you feel may be interested.

Our teen support group for teens ages 11-19 occurs at the same time as the adult group. Parents are invited to participate in the adult chronic pain support group.

If you or someone you know suffers from chronic pain, we invite you to join us on the First Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. *COVID UPDATE* To ensure the safety of everyone during this pandemic we have moved to Virtual Support Groups until further notice. Email us at info@cprcst.org to get signed up and receive emails with the link to join our private virtual GoToMeeting room.   Download the flyer below to view the 2020 group dates.  Virtual Support Group Dates/Times
